Phannita Maya
Maya is a 21-year-old all-rounder and a key prospect to Thailand. She is a key contributor with the bat and ball picking up crucial wickets in pressure situations and providing breakthroughs putting brakes on the opposition batting line-ups. In T20I cricket, she has scored crucial 263 runs in 36 innings and picked 31 wickets in 43 innings. She not only picks wickets but bowls very economically and dismantled Kuwait Women in the tournament opener, picking up 2 wickets in her 4 overs spell and giving just 9 runs and bowling a maiden over as well.
Aphisara Suwanchonrathi
Aphisara is a strong batter at the top of the order providing great starts to the side. She has scored a total of 173 runs in 17 innings striking at 73.94. Her last 4 innings have also provided some valuable runs with 68 runs combined and last game i.e the season’s opener clash against Kuwait Women, having a good start and seeing the Thailand team through victory. Aphisara holds the key for Thailand to progress ahead into the tournament with being one of the key opening batters in the side.
Ngawang Choden
Choden is one of the key prospects for Bhutan Women going into the tournament. A left-handed batter with left-arm medium bowling, Choden plays an important role in this side. In her last T20I game against Myanmar Women in December 2024, Choden pulled off a stunning all-round performance, scoring a half century and picking up 3 wickets in just 2 overs giving away only 9 runs. In T20Is, she has scored 327 runs in just 23 innings with one half century and picked 11 wickets in 11 innings with best bowling figures of 3 for 5.
