The 1st T20I of the three-match T20I series between Singapore and Indonesia was washed out due to rain. Indonesia won the 2nd game of the series by 9 wickets and the 3rd and final game of the series was the all-important series decider.

The rain gods yet again had their say in the 3rd game as the contest was reduced to a 10-over-per-side face-off between Indonesia and hosts Singapore, at the Singapore National Cricket Ground.

Indonesia lost both of their openers, Maria Corazon and Rahmawati Pangestuti, inside the first three overs of the innings, after skipper Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini won the toss and opted to bat first. Desi Wulandari joined Ni Luh Dewi at the crease, and the duo stitched a much-needed 53-run partnership for the 3rd wicket to take their side into a stronger position.

GK Diviya broke the stand, by sending Desi Wulandari (21 off 21 balls) back to the pavilion in the 9th over of the innings. Indonesia eventually posted a competitive total of 70/4 in their quota of 10 overs. Ni Luh Dewi (23* off 21 balls) chipped in with a vital contribution.

GK Diviya (2-0-9-1), Ella Ungerman (2-0-11-1), Ada Bhasin (2-0-17-1), and skipper Shafina Mahesh (3-0-20-1) picked up a wicket each with the ball for Singapore.

The rains arrived yet again, and the run chase was eventually reduced to a 5-over contest with a revised target of 44. Clinical bowling display from the Indonesian bowlers ensured that they restricted Singapore to 25/4 in their quota of 5 overs, as a result, falling 18 runs short of the target.
